Christmas! Holidays!

Its Christmas eve! Even though i dont actually celebrate still i like Christmas pretty well..i am not sure why..i think it might be because in my schooldays we used to get a small cake for Christmas as ours ws a missionary school....and cakes symbolise everything Goooooood! Besides "Christmas" sounds so good and strong on speaking!

Had a short visit to my Nani.... in Hazaribagh.....a place truly symbolising Jharkhand....., cows doing G.D on the main road and the only response to ur continuous honking of vehicles before them is a "Moo!" as if saying "Chill, u Crazy dude", majority of the people listening to "Appex" iPod or wearing some "Addas" apparel. Once i had gone to a shop asking for a "ball" and the shopkeeper asked me "khelne wala" ya "jalane wala ball"? I was not surprised.
I survived inspite of my small cousin sister making me sit and watch Sinchan and Doremon on a daily basis, n my aunt n Nani making me watch Saathiya and a soap in which there was a Mother in law whose eyes were always so wide open like on a Black Ops mission and she kept asking everyone trivial questions like "ruko, bahurani kaha ja rhi hai,.......wha kya kaam hai......". I was surprised no1 opened her head with a shotgun but i guess my Nani wont be pleased if they started taking out shotguns and sniper rifles in the TV soaps!

Went to a picnic with family and some people from my apartment.Jonha Falls.  I wish Jharkhand Govt would show some gratefulness to me in the future for this free promotion of Jharkhand tourism. Grand place, Awesome climate, Picturesque scenery. If ever you are in Jharkhand and want to have a tour of some awesome scenic place please do contact me. I like the scenic places much more than the shining clean malls with overpriced things and stars made all over the place referring to "Terms and conditions applied".
Here is a fun fact. Can you tell which is the 34th highest waterfalls of India?  Hundru Falls in Jharkhand. and i can boast i have been there.

Did i tell about the awesome train journey from Kanpur Central to Ranchi Junction on 10th of December,2011? Two things were of notably interest. I did not have a confirmed birth and nor did my friend Pranav aka the Mota aka Guddu Halwai. So i decided to take a nap on a vacant topmost berth till someone interrupts me. Now it happens that no one really interrupted me during the entire journey except the TT and a romantic conversation going on the berth opposite to me. I wondered if someone with the berth had not turned up there and even if so why did the TT did not assign the seat to some1 else with a waiting ticket.The mystery was solved later by Pranav who clarified that the berth belonged the boy and the girl who were sleeping on the birth opposite to me lost in their conversation and they must have realised that they did not need another berth!! Must i say with tears in my eyes that those who are in true love are the most selfless men and May God help them to overcome the goons who will be sent by the boy's father in near future to separate them. The second interesting thing in the journey was a group of most learned individuals in the coup next to us. Their interesting conversation immediately prompted me to try to record their talk in my mobile but could not have much success. Looks like Samsung needs to improve their sound recording facility in the phones. As far as i can recall they talked about almost every "need to be urgently discussed" topic of the world and even threw light on how micro organisms would lead to the end of the world in 2012 and how all Russia and USA were fooled by some company to engage in a battle for oil and all the ammunition were exhausted and they realized about their stupidity and took to peace!! Clearly till then i had never heard of such a battle and also not knew that USA's ammunition exhausted at any point of history .With so many learned scholars in every nook and corner of the India how do we still fail to succeed?

Read The Prisoner of Birth by Archer and Tell Me Your Dreams  by Sidney Sheldon. The first one is too good! It has compelled me into reading Kane and Abel which is going quite interestingly currently.
Clearly Archer likes to write about stock market and banking, going to jail, extraordinary talent in Mathematics and good friendship in his books while Sidney Sheldon has more variety of topics including crime, supers-scifi, criminals on a run, Multiple Personality Disorder, etc. I watched the end of Toonpur ka superhero which looked clearly to have copied the fight sequences of Neo Anderson of The Matrix. Revised the movie Sholay on Zee Cinema. The theme music of the movie is better than what people remember .Perhaps a Hindi  analogy to the music of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly which is absolutely terrific.

Hello World

Hello world ! Semester break  going on. I had made my mind to make the best use of holidays and learn some programming. i did learn for two days and after ten days ....today....all i remember is hello world !

Reading few novels these days. Finished Not a Penny more Not a Penny Less by Archer in a day. Gud book..must i say...the plot is fast and entertaining....It was followed by Sidney Sheldon's The Dooomsday Conspiracy- i dont think its anywhere near upto the mark like other of his works....the book has aroused a question in my mind-Why all the electric and battery operated appliances have to fail whenever the aliens or UFOs are sighted ?? And why do all the UFOs have to be circular disc like??-they should be more like the scientifically designed rockets and planes-streamlined!! A fact from the book i loved was a palindrome Napolean Bonaparte made - "able i was ere saw i elba" . Its the best palindrome i have come across till yet!! Have started a new one-Tell me your dreams by Sidney Sheldon.

Mission Impossible-Ghost Protocol is out and in a few days would be Don-2. Some people cursed and mocked Anil Kapoor's three minute role in MI-4.....I think it was a gud decision for Anil Kapoor...... his wiki page can contain the phrase "co-starred Tom Cruise in Hollywood flick-MI.....". I liked the Amitabh version Don. The red diary concept, the Khaike paan Banaras song, the serious Amitabh look, the classic old movie revolver sound and a happy ending all appealed to me. SRK's Don appears to me like a The Good The Bad The Ugly in which the Good and The Ugly die while The Bad emerges as the survivor. Before we know they would be making movies of Batman in which the Joker kills the Batsman in the end and the director feels he has made a movie with something new in it giving us a twistful sting!! I guess out of all the movies coming next year i would be most eager for The Hobbit. There cant be ever a movie like the LOTR!

Had registered for a RBI exam which intended to recruit interns from all over the country....such high was the enthusiasm that i downloaded the given reading material all over the holidays.... even read 2 of the pdfs.....i did not know RBI bothered about what fertlizers farmers used for millets and groundnuts in our country or what strategies some handloom boards of India make.Frankly speaking i did not know handloom boards existed!! Besides the words "growth outlook",fiscal consolidation", "monetary transmission policy" really depressed me so i gave up.Reading novels is much more fun!

About 12 days ago i attended my friend Shashank Jatav aka The Dirty Mind aka Dolu's sister marriage in Lucknow.....officially speaking i never recall being invited for the event.....i wonder if there was an argument between us who were to complain- me asking why on earth was i never invited or him saying why did i come uninvited !! The return journey to Kanpur involved me failing to produce a ticket confronting a TT who fined us heavily.....'us' because Harshit Gangwar the Laddu remained a faithful friend in getting caught along with me unlike my 4 other bastard ticketless friends who quietly walked in luck. The only thing we did to contend myself was to take a proper receipt for the full fine so the money went to the railways and not in TT's pocket. i learnt two things- firstly, paying a smaller price of bribe which goes for the TT's so called Snacks' fund instead of the proper fine wont make me less respectable citizen of our democratic secular republic of India. Secondly, next time buy the fuckin ticket !

Lookin forward to the Boxing Day test match bw India and Aussies in Aussies.....again the media people making the giant mistake of focussing on Sachin's 100th ton.... its obviously pressing him.....even for the God the expectations of millions of people can be distracting. I am clueless why they included Dinda as the fast bowler in Ishant's absence. They tried Varun Aaron earlier who performed well......then how on the earth Ashok Dinda emerges in? BCCI has always been a land of mysteries.....

Freedom at Midnight

Friends, IITians, Countrymen.....the painful times are over....and also are over our days of slavery.....days when each of us toiled as hard as the LOTR Uruk Hai.....The Endsems are over....and with them my fifth semester of stay at IIT Kanpur....in fact i can say its half time of the game.....jus hoping there would be no injury time added to my stay caused by uncalled 'F' grades...........now clearly i am getting good at metaphors!!

As soon as i woke this day thr first thing was that i realized that our grades has been released..... not that i checked my mailbox......in fact it was rather an unconventional method ......the first two status updates on your screen saying 10.0 cgpa/cpi by two bastards of IIT Kanpur ......Shubham Tulsiani aka the boy who should not live and KD aka the guy whose life got screwed every time you asked him anything like "Wassup" !! Its a cruel thing to do i say..... writing 10 even before the other people have checked their uncalled C's and D's ...take a break you... @#%$%@.....

I did not let the grades to take me over in an envelope of hangover.....instead i watched movies....whole lot of them.....Bruce Almighty, October Sky, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,...etc.... And yes please dont judge a movie by its cover/ name.....KKBB is a worth watching movie......calling it KKBB makes it sound like a SRK flick !
October Sky is another awesome movie....it involved rockets and mines....and i like both !! Bruce Almighty- perhaps i would have liked it better if i would not have seen the Hindi movie which copied it- God Tussi Great Ho....

India vs West Indies ODI series- i dont like it much.....i have observed that each time the Indies play against  India their squad looks completely new (by the name).....except for the face...the faces look the same each time....shining black putting the coaldust to shame.....and its best when they smile.....perfect setting for the Happydent chewing gum add.....

I wish more people would like Mathematics and even more be interested in its concepts and terminologies....not because i feel its a great subject or is revolutionary....( i don't really want people to hate me and get started on this )....but because once you are deep in the subject surrounded by the Maths dept people.......the feeling is just so natural that you tend to make pure Mathematical jokes.....which other people fail to appreciate and even look at you like you are the PJ king (if they understand you partially) or geek (if they dnt understand at all)......i am so tempted to tell about three people real joke outside a toilet and involving induction and a basis case but i think i vl pass......if you are real interested call me!


Now its not possible that i don't condemn some bastard on my blog.....sometimes its the railway people (in fact most of the times) smtimes the CBSE staff.....obviously the most deserving candidate to make it to my Post Midsem Times this time is Kapil Sibbal.....i have a strong belief that they decided his face to be Peter Pettigrew's image.....his statements and actions look so much like Chinese or an annoying Umbridge type......condemn and oppose anything that looks unappealing to you .....no matter to what extent an Undemocratic he has to be......

(Note: @ those who blink blankly at Umbridge or Peter Pettigrew's mention -- You are unbelievable to have not both seen and read Harry Potter .....seriously !!)

I read Jeffrey Archer for a second time and so much understand why i can see so many of his works on the railway platform book stalls!.... Only time will tell - its such a great book and you know whats awesome-it can attract the readers' attention without sex or a pretty girl blinking or staring at a boy ! Someone has suggested me reading  Not a Penny More not a Penny less.....still in the search of the book.....

Kanpur Weather Update? -- no idea about the morning or afternoon.....not all are so fortunate to see the daylight....no i am not a vampire......i am merely following the concept of "late to bed, early to rise".....there are times when i am brushing teeth and someone asks "Hey, coming for dinner?"
But i know about the night weather if you care- its foggy white like in the mystery or horror or romantic supernatural movies.......but not so cold or chilling.....and people do mysteriously disappear while walking ahead of you....... mixing slowly in the smoke like element around you which you cant touch but know is present there.....but apart from this not many things in the campus make it mysterious or supernatural or romantic...... the only mysterious thing is irrespective of the weather- Where the hell do our Mess Dues come from at each fresh start from the semester after paying all the fuckin Bills in time ??
and likewise the only romantic feeling is the one about which Utpal Raman Sharma (my IIT K bhai) knows so well..... from all these years' experiences living amongst creatures like  ......well lets leave the names of the guys out !!

Useless Knowledge

As u must have seen in my new pic, i finally succeeded in tasting a doughnut.....seeing people eat doughnuts on tv series had caused me to add it to my list of craved things..... the next thing in line is Cheesecake....If u send me a cheesecake i promise to put a picture of mine with your sent cake and give you a special mention on the blog....

I checked my blog views....and i think its worth a mention that the mere addition of word 'girl' in one of the posts enabled it to have the highest no. of views out of all posts......I think i know now what i need to do to publicize the posts......Bless you girl-craved IITians...!!..Finally got hold of Chetan Bhagat's new book Revolution 2020......I think its overall a good book....perhaps on little more serious lines than before.....but having the necessary stuff to draw readers- pretty girl and stuff u know....

Also watched Raone......You know what was more entertaining than Ra.one?.......The jokes and status that came up on facebook as people tried to vent out their frustation......Did any1 realize that the end scene of SRK dying in front of the boy was copied from The Terminator-II......

After watching numerous craps on the Zee Cinema and Star Gold in the canteen where the canteen staff appear to crowd around the TV every time Ajay Devgan shoots with his 'Dhiskiyayo' six shooter revolver and successfully kills people in double digits....or Jalebi Bai twists her waist and ass inviting human eyes like flies....i have given a lot of thought to the movie scenes.....and i believe there is a lot to learn from them....

Suppose your friend or girlfriend was being bothered by a villain in his factory like place with lots of pipes and drums.....and it happens you turn out to be DUDE (like my wingy Abhay Jain aka Senator_IIT_Kanpur) and you somehow take the villain captive on gunpoint......(you know-after doing lots of crazy stuff)....all the bearded dumb asses lowering their machine guns....now you should not get emotional and hug your gf so that the villain knocks your gun.....instead you should shoot the villain in his knees......collect the machine guns...and then hug your gf...!!

Or suppose you are a girl and you are hiding outside a room and listening to classified stuff being shared by your villain Uncle whom you thought to be a good man......then try not knocking the stupid vase at the door...... out of Adrenalin pump ....or he will know you have heard everything and so takes you captive and sends you in his godown.......and in case you do knock out...here is what you should try.....Go storming into the room with joy and crazy happiness.....and hug your villain uncle and talk about some happy crazy news.......and get the hell out of there....you might even try asking money to celebrate with your friends.......For my CHEESECAKE mayb....!!...Common sense man!!.....

I think i need to bring the topic of overpriced stuff on railway platforms and in rails......ever troubled by stuff being sold at prices over MRP or the prescribed govt rates?.....in case No......pls start having look at the MRP.....having travelled much on the railways i have never seen a railway meal being sold at MRP.....pls do be aware of the genuine rates....A normal veg meal costs exact Rs 30 and caterers demand Rs 40.....in case of argument pls ask for a bill.....pls dont overpay for your Coke or Mazaa.....i would rather not drink my Amul Kool than paying Rs20 instead of Rs 15-16....

I am so irritated by people asking for bribe or illegal money that after the guy at CBSE office,Allahabad took 500rs from me for correcting a mistake on my certificate....i actually took his pic later after the office hours and noted his name......i am going to haunt him when i am grow up.....He has been added to my list of enemies which also includes the chemist near my house who overcharged me for a Dispirin.....

Had an awesome trip to Delhi in Diwali......Went to my Department baap-Akshat Singhal's home with Akshay Jain....nothing weird happened in the journey  ( like it happens everytime i travel to my home-state ) apart from us meeting an Akshay Singhal on the train!!.....Please do not buy Deodrants from Palika Bazaar even when they offer 3 deos in 120rs....they have some funny gases in them.....i did not want to see my money going in drain.....so i use them as mosquito-killer spray in my room.....quite effective!!

Listen to the Gollum Song from Lord of the Rings and Metallica's The Ecstasy Of Gold(The Good, The Bad and The Ugly soundtrack).......leaving the first aside....if you failed to enjoy the later...i must say you fail to appreciate music ....

The fellowship of the Coin

 England suffering 4-0 at the hands of India and the last ODI game going on at Eden Gardens right now....Finally Varun Aaron made his debut in international cricket....3 wickets in the fast match-not bad at all esp wen all threee victims were clean bowled!!...The only reasn i emphasize this fact is : he comes from My home state of Jharkhand !!....well of course he appears good...consistently delivering balls in 140s....The teams playing against India must be so much used to play against the Indian 130-135 bowlers(acclaimed to be pacers) .....that they might be awed and dizzied by anythg that exceeds 140!!


Last time i remember Indians were in England....i ws so frustated that my heart kept on insisting to make "I hate Ian Bell", "I hate Staurt Broad"....pages on the FB..! Gone are those feelings ...Gone with the wind..!! 


I have decided to reveal a very important secret of mine after giving much thought to it....If any1 of you finds me behaving erratically or possessed or eccentric.....you may contact my wingies here urgently....It so happens that i found a magic coin from the middle ages with funny symbols....outside my room few weeks ago ....certainly planted by a bearded man who wants me to keep the coin away from the hands of a dark hooded man.....i have decided to keep the coin hidden for the welfare of Modern Earth people....but i percieve the coin is trying to possess me....i need you fellow mates to keep my heart clean and unpossessed by....my precious....MY precious....MY PRECIOUS....


Its Deepawali tomorrow.... earthen lamps, sweets, discounts, crackers,.....i love the first two........but Crackers- i renounced them after a course called Environmental Education was started in our school days!!....As far as discounts are concerned they really are not of much use to me unless given on food stuff....but believe me they do make the markets look so Colourful and admirable when pretty girls come flooding everywhere!!


Was watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S......revising actually after having watched all the seasons once.......Have you met Dolu (aka G.O.D aka ShashJ the sexy) ? ....You know who is funnier than all the characters of FRIENDS?....of course DOLU is.......Even the characters of FRIENDS would not be laughing  during Inception or The dark Knight or a serious porn movie!!


The Quest for an internship still intrigues me !! I wonder how great life would be if instead of us sending applications to professors around the world for internships it were the professors who sent us the mails praising us and begging us to work for them ......and we would giving excuses or time management problems to them !!....Jus no proff should go in depression and commit suicide out of rejections.....esp wen they hv the institute funds with them!!

Revenge Sweet Revenge

Finally we have revenge as Indians showed their metal in chasing 298 at Mohali extending their lead to 3-0 in the 5 game series..... revenge-one of the sweetest and the most satisfactory feelings for mankind..... a much needed row of defeats for Englishmen.... Frankly speaking I never want to see England as a great winning team in my lifetime.... Respect for our batsmen especially Dhoni .... Of course without Ajinkya and Gambhir it would have been nothing......

I think Dhoni is 1 of the best players in the world.... not for his skills as batsmen or keeping alone....but for his awesome Ability to understand the situation of the game .....his precise understaning of his own capabilities..... all this helps him to keep his cool and wait till the last moment before going after the bowlers..... when any other player might panic and lose his wicket in playing strokes....


College became such a dull affair suddenly after Antaragni..... the most enjoyable of the 3 i hv seen till now..... now its back to bloody Turing Machines , bloody measurable functions,  Compactness of bloody sets and bloody companies who dont want to take 3rd year MSc Maths students as intern students......


Perhaps the only incident since the fest worth mentioning that has occured in my presence was in my Theory of Computation class when the proff asked "Has any 1 any success with the Copying Machine"..... I dont know if, like me, the others who were copying the copying machine from their generous  neighbours realized the unintended pun but i sure did and wanted to say "With the copying machine or as a copying machine?"........but i curbed my instinct for my welfare.....!!


After much observation of my fellow mates i think we can develop a general protocol for speaking to people of different departments....like you can always say to a batti              (electrical) dude...."Quiz k liye pad liya?" ....You can be safely assured that he wont be coming up with a reply "koi quiz nai hai"..... Likewise you can always open a conversation with Mech n dabba   ( CSE) people with "Abey, Assignment kr liya kya?"..... Civil engineers can be safely asked " Hey dude, did you complete the lab report you were supposed to?" or "Hey...today any labs man?"..... You might try to be bit considerate and sympathetic in asking the Wings on fire people....the Aerospace...."finally koi company intern k liye aayi ya nai?".....When you meet the Materials Science STUDS  aka the deptmnt that believes they run the world (Of course you dont cross their argument......) you can ask "coaching kholna hai saath me ya fir TEEN BIS(meaning a package of 3 lakhs)?".....

Bed of Roses

Durga Puja holidays over.....Went to Tirupati, Mysore, Ooty in hols.....College fest Antaragni going right on .....India-England ODI series has started ....Mumbai Indians won the T-20 Champions League.....


Its rare that i board a train and the train seldom arrive late at my destinastion..... Was supposed to board my 1:50Am train Jharkhand Superfast .....the Superfast arrives in the morning at 6.....i had some interesting conversations with my fellow passengers.....they suggested to change the word Hatia( a railway station in Ranchi) to Ghatia.... finally reached home at 7 morning instead of 7 in the night......Only hours later i board Hatia Yeshwantpur.....and reach Tirupati...... 10 hours late again.......Frankly speaking i want to meet some railway guy and ask him one simple q..... How can a train be so talented so as to be 6 hour late in a six hr journey??........because thats nothing ordinary .....even for Indian railways it needs considerable effort and much sincerity on the part of the rail officials......!!...@#$%#@$%$.......(I have decided to cut out the Beep words from my blog)


I wonder why dont they change the names of Southern states to somethg like Sambhara Pradesh or Sambhar nadu,.....The word 'Sambhara' appears to be the solution to any food related problems there......you order Poori bhaaji and the waiter appears with a plate of puri and Sambhar..... Order a thali and lo..here comes a big plate with varieties of Sambhara......like one Sambahra for Vegetable....one for Pickles...one for daal....one for Dessert......Beeeeeeep...!


Managed to have a Darshan of Govinda at Balaji and not go bald like most of the devotees chanting some weird lines....i cd only catch only 1 word-Govinda (not the crap guy who thinks he is funny)!!.......Went to Bangalore and took a bus to Mysore from there......O boy! Tipu Sultan was rich!!....Saw a 240 kg gold throne at the Mysore Palace....Also went to The Vrindavan gardens.....Stunning !....beautifully lighted fountains......Later travelled to Ooty through the Nilgiris.......Went to the Botanical gardens....Great place to relax and forget about any tensions you have regarding assignments, Gf/Gfs(its a genuine tension if its plural), interns,etc........you even start to enjoy each breath which we seldom notice otherwise....


If nothing else....i can at least advise you to stay away from Sai Balaji Tours and Travels....Bastards....Without them the tour would have been much thrilling and my pockets would have been heavier.....Made my vacation an express.....only once did i get a chance to sleep a night peacefully on anything not on wheels ...!!..


Returned to Ranchi on 8th Sep....the Journey from Rnc to Kanpur Central was most intresting with the bloody train stopping at Gomoh Junction for abt 6 and a half hours......I was there sitting on the platform waiting for some miracle....and then i heard it....."Dhinka Chika" song on the Railway Announcement Speaker.....Some frustated people had captured the Announcement room....Nothing much more happened except some people related the mothers and sisters of the Station master to some animals and an open invitation to people "eney aawa and humara saath tod phod kara".... This journey has changed my life considerably.....i have pledged an oath to not travel by that train again!!


Glad about Mumbai indians winning T20 championshiop.....n also CSK not making to semis!!....Surprise by a injury laden team devoid of The Magical maestro Sachin tendulkar......


Antaragni 2011- a 4 day eye treat for IIT K guys..... greenery all around the campus.... probably you need only a few things to be the happiest guy in the campus- a nice girlfriend and a decent looking ID card which enables you to slip in anywhere.... Sunidhi Chauhan supposed to come on the final day.... i dnt like her songs very much....She is like Lady Mika...!!

Post Midsems Literally

Midsems over......more importantly our sufferings are over.....also team India's sufferings are over.....earthquake all over India.....Balckburn Rovers' win over Arsenal .....Bodyguard movie sucks( Dying to write this)......

I wd like to start with expressing some emotions for our beloved team India.....though i hv no idea whether i should express grief or anger or frustation.....Half the team could not play the matches......but soon they would be playing T20 champions trophy.....and their smiling faces selling hair oil and jhandu baam ....


I always wondered when i was small..."How wd i feel one day when players like Ganguly , Dravid and Sachin would have retired"......After Dravid's ODI retirement I realize I DREAD the day when Sachin announces retirement.....Srikanth Bhole the weird Poley asked me to write something as awesome as Dravid about him.....I cant write anything that awesome ....only i can tell that my batting stance is like Dravid's just to be mentally strong that i can't get out easy.....I find his style that awesome....!!.....

Became so much free after mid sems--even started omegling......at least it contributed richly to my GK.....now i know what is malibu--its coconut rum and about a city in Poland-Gdynia and there is actually an academic subject called International Relations...! !....atleast the polish girl(the subject claimed to be) said it was.....Also i know that you should not expect Polish people to know about Mahatma gandhi....because I asked her if she knew about Mahatma Gandhi.....n she said "YES...HE must be quite OLD now....."....i even told her what General Dyer did at Jallianwala Bagh n she exclaimed "Motherf*****"......

Finally got Room No. 222's Ipod back from Anshul the buddhao Backchod ......Apple stuff are great...... only if they cut their price to something more decent and achievable they would do great in India....... Besides Apple wants to charge for everything additional in their products(as what i hv heard frm Anurag K S ...he is credited for any wrong info regarding this) like Bluetooth drivers, wi fi drivers, etc..... It does not really matche with our mentality who are ready to buy anything pirated at reduced costs .....Thats why Chinese stuff have such a hit market.....Mayb Apple shd alter its product or strategies or the PRICES for us...! Anyways does nt matter much ....i had to spend nthg for my Ipod!!


Loving the library these days.... more n more people coming these days.... a decent or with any luck,a  nice girl sitting at the side desk does make you stay you there wen you are out of stamina n concentration..... jus like when Kumble used to stay after 7-8 wickets down n we used to murmur "Just hold on for a little time more"......n just wen you think "Its enough!! Hi everyone..... long time since my last blog.....  back to my Blogging form ..... 5th semester going on.... real smooth yet..... Lots of things to write about..... India England test series...  Excitement n frenzy about interns for next summers...... the most Exciting Hall 3 Phatta League (H3PL) (SOUNDS cool na?)..... Awesome Anna .....n Rascala Congress ......


One of the few topics in the world about which i can talk without hesitation - Cricket....anytime anyplace..... Vl.....any Indian player would hardly have thought (while enjoying sands n beaches n 'bitches' in Indies) about 0-4 cleansweep before the series...... This series should ring a bell for the BCCI people..... stop eating talking sleeping and deaming money.....n do something.... Firstly this series claifies that all the bloody IPL hitters are not great batsmen..... secondly what do we do wen Dravid , GOD, Laxman retires.... How to fill that great depression in team.... I wonder if the frustated BCCI would start a second session IPL in a year to protect our players n public sentiments from test humiliations.....Either the IPL session should be smaller allowing players to focus on more serious test cricket and retain their energy......or better scrap it....Even a ODI series wd be better than T20 .....however it maynot be exciting in Monetary terms...... 3 times innings defeat in 4 test matches....whoa...wonder what wd hv happened with Dravid failing to perform..... Even if Sachin wd hv managed his 100th century in the last innings it wd hv wiped all the 'gila shikwa' ......


Anna Hazare finally winning his match against the Congress...... after a nationwide support ..... i dont know much about the bill except that  it wd allow any required investigation against people of power like the IAS, MP,etc.... without much hinderance...... The numerous cycle rallies, candle marches, human chains n other stuff surely brought a chg besides occupying lotss of space in my mailbox......I take this golden oppurtunity to curse Congress spokesman Manish Tewary aka Mindless speaker (as once written in WIKI)....May he enjoy the wraths of hell......fr claiming that Anna Hazare is soiled with corruption.....


The best of all.... Hall 3 Phatta League launched on lines of IPL.....(abt which i just wrote my antagonist feelings...).... 10 teams ....auctioning in the quad.... I wonder if Utpal Raman sharma  the tharki aashiq or Harshit Gangwar the laddu aka SIS would consider to boast in their Resume of the huge price for which they were sold in the Auctions....!!....I feel glad to be such an asset for my Rajasthan Royals Team.....nt that i play awesome cricket...just because i saved lots of money fr them to spend on other players by being auctioned at mere Base price...!!.....We  lost our first match against minnows CSK........I blame it all on absence of Hot Cheer Leaders ...their absence constantly haunted us and failed to lift our spirits in the midst of falling wickets and smashing shots......and absence of a promising treat by our manager Anurag K Singh aka Jimmy Bhaiya aka the guy who knows abt every1's WAGs...!!

hi again.... have caught a cold... or might be the other way instead ....the cold has caught me......... cold n fever in summers are worse than in winters ....its hard to resist cold coffee with ice cream or not to sit in front of the coolers in summers ...... besides something is worrying me .... i dont know what it is exactly ..... either the fact that my pseudoproject is not progressing enough...... or my sleep pattern has been messed up so much that i cant sleep at night .....or perhaps i find something wrong with my eyes due to continuous staring at my lappy screen.....or in one of my dreams WIndies won the world cup .....though that hardly is going to bother anyone seeing the current Carribean cricket ......


Akshat the tapey guy returned from Russia.... i got a molten Snickers manufactured in Russia.... and a mail from Astronomy Club regarding the Lunar Eclipse..... my careless mouth let slip a question in front of him which had its consequences..... i had to listen to "what causes a lunar eclipse" and keep nodding and say yes-es as he rambled of refraction of light and moon becoming red...........later UTube showed it live....the next Lunar Eclipse which could be seen from India in 2018.....i m not xcited for it....


Climate becoming terribly damp..... it rains in the night and the rest of day w keep wiping our sweat drops..... the clouds messed up with the eclipse..... Astro people would not be glad....people have been calling the entire summer and asking "Kanpur me garmi kaisa hai?" ... i get tempted to say -" acha hai....aapko bahut yaad karta hai"..... 


People continue posting pictures of their intern places and statuses of their first salary... i think i might have to take screenshots of CS games and UTube videos and my pictures outside the Swimming pool and ShopC.... to make it even...you know....to show how my summers are going on....

Well i was not going to write another blog for at least 5 days since the  last the last one, but i saw a pitcher full of chocolate shake in my dream and i dont remember exactly but i suppose i was almost trying to put my head and neck in it and i really wanted to write it down......


X men: First Class is here ...heard its really good.... before watching it... i hv considered revising previous ones.... Done with X men:Origins..... i dont think if i would desire for some superpower i would really want a pair of claws....even admantium wont tempt me that far....maybe invisibility or something like that would be cool.....


Pseudoproject on Artificial Neural Networks really slow....slow like snails, slow like continental drift ,....that metaphor is from Two and a half men..... done with three seasons..... Reminds me of Three men in a Boat by Jerome K Jerome.....three mindless creatures going on holiday..... though the author does not consider himself as stupid like the other 2... at times after continuous Tv series and Cs and movies and occasional blogging and lots of facebooking i feel i am wasting my time....and so i go to sleep....which reminds me that my sleep pattern has immensely changed.... i might well be nocturnal now.... missing breakfast....there is nothing to complain about...k....but missing lunch continuously ..... its not uncommon when i have the first meal of the day at 6:30 .....evening.....unless you count as the 2 o'clock night snack as the literally first day meal.....of course...


Under the Bridge, Snow, Cant Stop,Scar Tissue  by Red Hot Chilli Peppers are awesome..... i wonder why earlier i had only heard Californication.... RHCP is awesome....i wonder what might make them think such name for a music band.....but "What's in a name? That which we call a rose......" ......you know the rest of it....

My new mid room is great....no one bothers me as the room is at the end of the corridor....so lots of Peace.....only  bad thing is cant get players for CS.....


Rained super hard last night.... at times it looks touching.... mid night...rain beating down hard....wind blowing hard spraying cold water against the face....few yellow lights making the water droplets shine ....the reflected lights in the water pools.... no human activity outside....just solitude.... you might as well wish to have a nice gf and go for a walk in the rain.... or to play football if you have been in IIT for quite some time and know that a gf is out of question.....it lasts only for few hours...then all you want is to get rid of the humidity..... 

Life is simple

Firstly the most important thing that has occured in these summers to me.... finally got shifted to a room in the mid from top ...... which might not appear of much importance....BUT living at the top floor ....the heat raises the energy of the system .... and you literally become an unstable system and start oscillating about your bed with increasing amplitude and frustation...... and you rather want to 'leave' than 'live'..... 


Trying to swim like a fish these days.....already hv taken in lots of chlorine water till yet..... i can float on my back now..... still need to try opening my eyes and control my rudders since i go in circular loops while floating without the slight realization of turns and twists......
Saw Kungfu Panda 2 recently .....and then since then my heart has been craving for inner peace..... it can do wonders i suppose.....mayb vl help with my grades...!!.....Also read a Sidney Sheldon's The Sands Of Time....nothing to do with Prince of Persia please....i hv already faced that question twice......Also watched Pyaar ka Punchnaama.....another awesome movie.......


The Hall mess treating us like inhabitants of hell..... curses and swearing so common everywere by each man who dares put a morsel in his humble mortal mouth .....frustated ...a few of us planned an attack on a foreign mess so rich in food that even the skies water at the mention of its food.......we even missed our noon meal...... and then to swim and a run...... imagine the deep heat of our hunger.....burning each element of our earthly body..... i tell you if life ever had glorious and inspiring music like that in The Lord of The Rings as the soldiers approached their enemies......then it had to be this moment when 7 of us...hungry like wolves or hogs....entering the foreign hall.... uncaring of anything which stands in our way......and so we ate and ate....like an entire infantry......till the mess people were eyeing us.....annoyed and their unspoken words directed at eyes-"have some shame and eat not like you shalth never eat ever on earth".....though they might not have thought so much in Shakespearian........what a meal it was.....and out we went laughing.... like some Hollywood star and his crew just flawed the enemy's attck or perhaps stole some expensive car....man....it needed some background music i say.....!!


Enough of food....life pretty good here....Artificial Neural Networks still being dragged slowly.....i wonder if really we can predict any crude oil price or stocks of  companies some day from now...... Ramdev Baba putting a brave stand before the government..... a few of the leaders really have no shame....Digvijay Singh one of them..... Kapil Sibbal.... they resemble the neta of Rang De Basanti..."we dont give a damn shit about this country"................."all we want is to prove ourselves correct and no matter what happens if we say black is white then indeed black is white ".....Sonia Gandhi- vl we have learnt a lot of things about her and her son.....facebook videos and notes being shared ....revealing few parts of their properties through Russian Intelligence Agency KGB and some German magazines......and how she faked her not taking the Indian PM post...when she really wanted it but was not qualified for it by some Super Intelligent Law of the constituion.......Have some shame all of you..... 


 Anshul the budhao aka uncle super instigated by these current events..... and becomes hyper active in sharing anti congress stuff on fb ....Listening Breaking Benjamin -"The Diary of Jane", "breathe" ...."So cold"......My laptop breathing with difficulty ...but thats perfectly okay.....Dell....i wonder why they are so famous..!!.....in 1 year the battery is screwed, the charger needs replacement or the hard disk might crash twice.....if you are out of luck you might need a motherboard replacement..... i believe i am lucky just enough to escape all these ...just for an year.... and right when my warranty period expires....lo ....here goes your battery, motherboard , charger, ....and not to mention the heating......you might think why you did not reconsider buying an electric heater in place of the laptop......

Nearly 25 days hv passd since my end sems..... summers passin quite easy... no pressure of anythg...... jus surfing sites,reading crap, playing games..... and at times reading serious lookin pdfs of artificial neural networks to convince myself that i am doing somethg useful..... yes also trying myself in swimming....hardly any progress.... all i cn do is float on the surface fr some 20 seconds in a single breathe..... i even hv time to read interview of Force India's Paul de Riesta or check IMDB page on wiki.... grt movies coming during these days... Pirates 4, Kungfu P 2, The Hangover 2 already...... yet to see ...... X men, Cars 2, Super 8 approaching fast.... seems i hv to do lots of homework ! .... ....


Tryin shootin people n aliens also ....Half Life n CS .... we even tried playing CS against some other wing .... only tried ....they actually opened our heads in matters of seconds..... things became grave wen some1 even suceeded in stabbing one of us wid a knife from back....now in a CS match thats serious insult.....!!...


People keep postin pics of their intern n training on fb.... n people keep askin -what r u doing in these summers? ...Wat am i doing?...huh....enjoying snowfall in Knpur obviously....wat else do we here.... even my project is pseudo.....perhaps semipseudo project.... i think i m scared of spiders... this horrible arachnid keeps on haunting my room walls.... i cn see spiders crawling on the ceiling with one eye closed while trying to sleep..... at times i even get horrific thoughts like...wat if this spider is disabled or has some funny disease like Spider's polio and it cnt keep itself stable up there n it falls on my back.... n the nasty creature walks on me making my hair stand and me jumping up half scared and half frustated..... trying to throw anythg which touches me off me...... bt obviously the world cant function smooth if  all the terrible things we imagine come true.......


Akon has sung a hindi song for Ra one movie and its awesome.....  vl not as awesome as Apologise or All the right moves by One Republic..... bt wat is awesome is awesome......Sri Lanka lost the 1st teast which might not be much awe you know that the 3rd innings of the match started an hr bfore tea of the last day...... n out they were all for perhaps 82.... anyways  who gives a damn about test these days...... i watches some of english second innings and by the end of half hour i was craving for a boundary..... neither Herath Rangana was at all intrested in bowling at the stump nor Trott cared to drive a ball outside off stump.... i cd not believe how the run rate was still above 3..... 


i wish watermelons had just one seed..... you might understand that seeds irritate so we want them  minimal mayb none.... but do you wonder why exactly did i not wish for seedless melons?...vl if melons wd b seed how exactly are more melon plants going to be planted...!!..now thats somethg an outcome of 'Leisured' thinking.....

Summers @ IIT K Campus

Long time.......bck to blogs.....no acads no quizzes......still feeling the heat.....if u evr had been to Ranchi u wd probably think i m mad to leave my hometown to spend my summers in Kanpur..... its nice n windy there ...it rains frequently to keep the mercury under check.....and i dont have to live on the topmost floor.....anyways cant complain much....The Mighty Gods have not sent me to Sahara yet.....


I am not sure wat exactly i am doing at the IIT right now.....some people are doing projects....some are involved in sports....some in club stuff like robotics,etc......i dnt think i m doing a project...as i wd hv started reading something if i were.....i am definitly not involved in clubs....Lets say i am living life a bit......does nt feel cool grt saying i am doing nothing........playing CS, watching movies, some athletics n deep breathing during evening with my feet on lightly wet grass as wind blows across my face wiping my sweat....this is the best part of the day....i cn relax and be idle and watch people (no wrong intentions please)...watch small kids doing funny taekwando .....and my legs good....i feel strong and muscles seem so energetic.....Only bad thing that happened in the ground is that someone ate my newly bought Glucose pack.....in 1 day its nearly half gone....bt i can live with that!!......


Wen i returned to the campus....i could not even sleep....room feels like a tandoor.....its really hot here....hotter than Cheerleaders!!.....high temp n humidity.....i try to lie down....bt the bed so warm.....made me jump up n switch my position....or i would be sprinkling water on the bed....or go and wash my head......in an hour i have done all and yet to droop my eyelids....I m blessed there were no mosqitoes....Mosqi bhais if present in such unhuman conditions can drive you to run back to the station and catch the first return train.....bt situations have certainly improved since then.....now i can concentrate on my gun n track the Counter Terrorists the entire night.....without wiping my face all the time.....i wonder wat would have happened if CS wud hv been made by the Al Qayda people...perhaps besides planting the bomb the target wd hv been to make terror videos n send it to other countries or marry lots of women with black dementor like hoods n increment your players in the game....!!....


Watched some grt movies in last few days.....Flags of our Fathers-about some heroes of Vietnamese war....i learned a new word in the movie-corpseman -its not a superman or batman type thing.....still it saves lives.......other movies Rescuing Dawn, SpyGame, Aanand an hindi oldie goldie....revised Pirates series n Bourne Identity.....35-40 movies still occupy lots of Harddisk....hv to quickly finish them off!!....On stranger tides does not seem to be grossing much money as the prev three parts.....yet i am keen to watch Sparrow sail on his ship.....besides i find Penelope quite cute....


Mumbai Indians sent down to third in the points table....thnx to some idiotic batting performances.....KKR fans finally can cheer after 3 disappointing years.....first time they would play a semis match....MI for the second time...RCB for the third time.....n the bastards CSK for the fourth time.....last day of league matches......today CSK vs RCB.....n MI vs KKR.....Sachin's orange cup gone.....i wonder if some years later would name it SACHIN cap in his honour....i would like that...!!...


No more Dear....No more complications.....besides the Spi-Cpi thing is taking a toll on me.....i didnt know before coming to college that they would annoy so much.....trying to learn some HTML.....i like the symbols '<' and '>' ....they look coool!!.....and i love 'marquee'...(thats not a girls name pls).......Went to library few times to study something useful.....got my first book issued at IIT K after 4 sems....finally....it was an Artificial Neural Networks Book ....the lucky one..!!....Someone get the Champagne.....!!....i didnt read it of course....it had funny equations...!!...After some visits n discussions with my deptmnt friend i came to the conclusion that ANN are cool and i should study them nex time!!.....read Three Men In a Boat by Jerome K Jerome....the author's writing style and tone has definitely made a deep impact on mine.....
